Neil Crosby x oc Juniper "June" Flynn is The Runarounds' keyboardist, but before her senior year ended, she probably would've described herself differently. June would've probably said something like, "I play piano at my church every Sunday to help my dad." Or "Oh, yeah, I'm August's big sister. No, he wasn't born in August." She probably would've left out the fact that her best friend is nicknamed Bender, or even that she's been invited to another one of her classmates' parties - and this time, she's actually part of the main event. She probably wouldn't have said that the band playing was the entire reason she's even doing it. You'd most likely notice her looking away when you said a certain dirty blonde's name. But what she would tell you - is that she shouldn't have taken up Sophia Kinney's offer on dressing her up. But if you were to really get to know her, you'd know that night was the night her entire life changed. She just hopes it was for the better.

The Runarounds thought their first tour would be all sold-out shows and rockstar dreams. Instead, they get terrible motels, broken-down vans, emotional chaos, and way too many feelings nobody knows how to talk about. As friendships shift and relationships are tested, some bonds grow stronger...while others start to crack under the pressure of life on the road. Will Neil and Ruthie finally face what's been simmering under the surface? Will Wyatt realize that maybe what he's been looking for has been right in front of him all along?
