Lok already knows about Huntik. He is like his father, Ethan and is a pro at this already and Lok is already a born user of using magic. Lok was taught about the arcane group do to his teachers noticing his magical aura. But the foundation wants Lok to try and have a somewhat normal life so he is sent to Sophie's school. Unfortunately thanks to his ADHD he isn't doing very well. and from here the canon plays out.

Lok Lambert is introduced to the world of Seekers when he finds his father's journal and an Amulet. With the help of his new friend Sophie Casterwill, he escapes the Organization, which tries to capture him and the journal. During their escape, Lok meets Cherit, a friendly gargoyle, who aids them while on the run. Sophie and Lok seek the help of Dante Vale, who decides that the best course of action is to enroll the two young seekers into the Huntik Foundation's Seeker Academy. Join our heroes on a turbulent adventure navigating Mentor/Student dynamics, learning about their Seeker powers, and proving themselves to be one of the Foundation's best recruits.

Ten years ago; Laynie, Lance, and Wyatt were left on an island alone with a couple of Titans each and no memories of how they got to the island or where the island is located.
