Zayn and Niall are best friends, they've been best friends sense they were in first grade. In highschool they are still best friends, they aren't very popular either but nothing could keep them apart. That is until Nialls crush Harry Styles gets in between them. Zayn has feelings for Niall but is to scared to tell him, as Niall becomes more popular he becomes distant with Zayn. Will zayn ever tell Niall how he feels? Of will he be forever Friend zoned.

Set in the 1940s, two young men, Zayn and Niall, find love in a small, conservative town. Their summer romance is cut short when Zayn is drafted into World War II, leaving Niall behind. Through heartfelt letters, they keep their love alive across the miles, but tragedy strikes when Zayn is reported missing in action and presumed dead. Unbeknownst to Zayn, Niall faces an unexpected challenge: he discovers he is pregnant. Braving societal judgments and the struggles of single parenthood, Niall raises their son, cherishing the memory of his lost love. Just as he adapts to life without Zayn, an astonishing twist of fate occurs. On their son's first birthday, Zayn, who has miraculously survived, returns to the town, unaware of the profound changes that await him. "Whispers of War" is a story of enduring love, resilience, and the challenges faced by a family in an era of societal constraints and war. It's a tale that weaves the harsh realities of history with the timeless power of love and the unbreakable bonds of family.
