Hi! Welcome to my first oneshot book 🍕 So I'm JUST getting into the 'Invader Zim' tv series. (Yeah, I know, i'm 20 years old and I had a shitty childhood. :/ ) But I recently thought to myself, 'Well, Invader Zim oneshots would probably be a fun thing to goof around with.' "AU - Human Zim and Irken Dib A strange new boy shows up at skool, Zim can tell he is much different from the other people at skool but he never expected to find someone he can stand. How will Zim take it once he find out what Dib is?" Warning!! Dib had to do it. He had to tell Zim how he felt. They've known each other for years, fighting..bickering..but eventually when they got into highschool..things were different. They've grown into friends and Dib realized that Zim wasn't trying to destroy Earth anymore. Zim would even talk about the things he enjoyed about the "disgusting" planet. It warmed Dib's heart in a weird way the first time Zim had told him what he liked about Earth. A lot of the things Zim did warmed the weird teen's heart. His stupid evil laugh, they way he went "Eh?", and the way he acted.. And then he realized. Oh. Oh no. He had feelings for the stupid alien. Cover art by yours truly, me. uwu

After Zim created the florpus, the Tallest were sucked in and never seen again. All around the Galaxy, revolts began. Worlds corrupted and taken over by the Irken Empire became restless, and began a great purge. This purge was known far and wide: Irken people were killed or ran out of solar systems, sent to black holes or stars to burn or be torn apart by the forces of space. However, word got around about what Zim had done. With many, many, many angry transmissions, it sunk in as to what Zim had done. His selfish desires lead to his entire species' demise. Fearing the worst, he unpowered GIR, and left "Urth", leaving Dib, his parental robots, and a shell of what his "house" was behind. Years later, he would return. Only to find that Dib, his family, and everyone else had moved on. Nobody remembered the "Great and Powerful Zim!" Membrane took his kids away for better educational opportunities, and other kids from Skool had gone up many grades. It was just him. Alone. He had to learn customs, he better at hiding, learn things the proper way. And there he stayed. Until Dib-Worm came back. --- ZaDR grabbed me by my ankles and said "you're going on a ride you whore" after watching into the florpus So HERE I AM BABE Y- Also I'll be making a cover so the one that's there now is temporary- so ye Also also note that my information on most of the series rotted away for the past idk how many years- so like... some stuff with be changed for story's sake lmao

This is a story on how Zim and Dib work it out. Its start at the end of the school year (highschool) they are in. After a little tiffy over at Dibs house Zim starts to feel and act strange. Zim kidnap Dib and they have a (talk) lets see what happens. (Dib is 17 years old in this story, and now taller. Zim also got taller but shorter then Dib. For quite a while now, Dib has been wondering who he is. After Dib goes to an LGBT fair and gets a bit too close to Zim, he finally decides that he's gay, but is reluctant to tell anyone; especially his homophobic father, Professor Membrane. Soon, after a crazy series of events, Dib is left with two choices: should he stay in the closet, or should he come out? Find out in "True Colors"! -------------------- Also, the artwork on the cover is mine. I just wanna clarify that so I don't get a copyright strike. The characters, however, don't belong to me; they belong to their respective owners.

- TW/ SH DEPRESSION SUICIDE HOSPITALIZATION AND STUFF LIKE THAT- btw they're 17 in this but zims the top cause dibs always the top Dib gets bullied and tormented at skool by the biggest bully in the skool, who is also his boyfriend. But once zim comes to the skool dib becomes suspicious and tries to find out more about zim, as he does, zim finds himself falling in love with humans. He is revolted as to think he could love a human, he was suppose to destroy the humans not love them. Will dib love zim back and leave his toxic relationship?
