Officer Ziva David has only been on the NCIS team for a year so far, and she is still getting used to the way things roll. She's a fast learner, but when a Miss America pageant comes to D.C. that is specially dedicated to the navy and marines, everything changes. NCIS gets an anonymous tip about a bomb set to go off at the end of the pageant so things turn from kicking asses to sparkly tiaras. Ziva is ordered to go on the undercover mission, and she doesn't exactly realize what she is getting herself into. Undercover as a geek is one thing, but a makeup caked, world-peace-loving, teary-eyed airhead seems a little beyond her paycheck.

Gibbs, Mcgee, Tony and Kate investigate; they are NCIS's major case response team. Together with Abby, Dr Mallard (ducky) and Jimmy Palmer. They solve crimes that no one else can.

When the elevator finally gives in to gibbs' meetings Tony and Ziva get a reality check opening the door to situations that they just might not be ready for. So what's up with Mcgee and Abby?, and will the appearance of a possible love interest for Gibbs cause Jenny to admit feelings that were supposed to be buried long ago

This is a Tiva fanfic that goes back and forth between past and present. The past is before Tony and Ziva get together and the present is seven years in the future when Tony and Ziva are married and have two children Tali and Aaron. The flashbacks that take place in the story tells the story of how they got to where they are in the present . Each chapter is marked for whether it takes place in the past or the present.
