(i haven't seen a lot of Zoey x reader stories out there yet, probably because Kpop Demon Hunters is still new, but i decided to make one any ways) Zoey and you were childhood best friends from when she was living in America. you met in Junior high, but you both unfortunately had to move to different countries, your reason for moving was important family matters, and Zoey's was to become a famous K-pop star in her K-pop group named Huntr/x. But you also became famous in your country by pursuing your dream as a singer as well. and you decided to go to her last show when she came to your home country when they went on their last tour before their break. then moved to Korea to be with her. because. yk. you love her. (and she kind of convinced you to.) the title may stay the same. and sorry if it sounds a lot like a lyric from Helpless from Hamilton, i was singing it while i was thinking of a name. it might change though. don't know if this is gonna have mature themes, but it is gonna slightly follow the plot.
