In the beginning when drones were first made they were very different from the drones that were accustomed to seeing now. These ones were called the Adam and Eve drones from the project you could say they were closer to humans when it came anatomy wise. They would assess if their owners would have trouble procreating. To make sure it worked out they tested it and it proved successful and many stood up to buy one. And do to their programming the drones are not allowed to get attached. SD: E or who likes to be called Evy was one of those models and was taken in by the Elliot family for a special reason. Louisa Elliott didn't want to go through the pain of conceiving or carrying and James Elliott agreed. So they had both DNA's on hand so that they would have an heir to the company and legacy.
