Love sucks. I particularly hate it when I hear the term, 'and they lived happily ever after." This isn't true for my kind of vampire. I've being in love so many times, it just never works out. I was born with a curse. My kind is well known for our wonderful venom and we are juxtaposed; we can love deeply but as soon as we kiss another, they die. It's in the genes. Then one day I sparkled like an enchanted princess (with fangs), enough that a certain gentleman noticed and he had a certain gene problem too. Who knew? Who knew that polar opposites, genetically, can attract. So here's our story... I hope you enjoy!

Hayleigh isn't your average, run of the mill, kind of girl. She's top of the heap. The cherry on top of the Sundae. At least she had been, before the Zombie apocalypse hit. Her elevated social standing at Beverly Hills High, the best clothes, a great CV on her college application, matter less in this new world, and she doesn't like it. Not at all. Desperate to get back her old life in this new, Zombiefied world, Hayleigh leaves the safety of her underground bunker in search of others she can dominate. Others who will, once again, worship her, as only she deserves to be worshiped. Ezekiel, or Z, as he's called, has a problem. Ok, a slew of problems, truth be told. Least of which is the fact he's a Zombie. A high functioning Zombie, for sure, but a Zombie nonetheless. He was alive - then he died - then he came back life. To his way of thinking, that qualifies him as alive as anyone. Unfortunately, some disagree. And their disagreement is backed by guns, machetes, and a variety of weapons, all of which have the sole purpose of making sure he dies again. This time for good. Added to that, he's doing his best not to eat people. At least not the ones he likes at any rate. All he wants is to lead the group of survivors safely out of LA, with his flesh eating Zombie brothers and sisters on one side, and chainsaw wielding gangs on the other. When Hayleigh and Z's paths cross, their lives are forever changed. Will he dominate her, or she, him? Only one of them can be the leader. The question is, which one will it be? It's a battle for supremacy in this post-apocalyptic world.

Everyone shivered on their knees. Simon walked back and forth as he stared at us, nodding his head and smiling as if approving his shiny new friends. "Alright! Let's meet the man himself!" He smiles with excitement in his eyes. He walks over to the R.V. door and knocks on it twice. He steps to the side and awaits for Negan to step out. Everyone around waited with anticipation for Negan to come out. For the life of me, I couldn't figure out how I knew that name. Even if there were a gun to the back of my head, I still wouldn't remember it... The R.V. door opens and out comes a tall, slim man wearing a leather jacket with a wooden bat wrapped in barbed wire resting on his shoulder. Negan shows a smile and that's when it hits me. My eyes widen. The oxygen in my lungs freezes. My heart pounds against my chest. I know him. It's Negan...
