Eighteen year old Leila Jensen has a whole host of problems. 1) She is the only human left on Earth 2) She is surrounded by half dead human's who are trying to take a bite of her brain. 3) Survival is getting harder harder as resources aren't exactly a walk across the street anymore. The apocalypse began one year ago. Just like you see in the movies, it started off with one unfortunate individual, then greedily spread through everyone else. But Leila was more fortunate than everyone else, you see she is the only one walking around with a brain. Everyone else died and came back as... well, Zombies. She has kept herself alive in this world of the undead for just over a year. But what happens when she realises that in fact, she is not the only person left on this planet. One day when Leila is making a move to a new location she stumbles across Brent, both are as surprised to see each other. Surely after a year of survival you would be over the moon with finding someone else in the exact same position as you? But no, they don't quite meet the same end. Can Brent and Leila survive and work together or are they going to go in their separate ways and fight by themselves. You'll have to find out. WARNING! This story does contain graphic scenes of gore!
