Edd, Tom, Matt and Tord are three monsters (and a superhuman) who are just trying to live their lives. Things were going well, until anti-monster activists force Tord to flee the city. Their spirits lowered, Edd, Tom, and Matt are captured and are required to be studied on by the government. After a daring breakout, the three creatures are on the run, living in the wild and trying to find a place safe for monsters. But along the way, they'll be reunited with allies and enemies alike, and go on to fulfill the destiny no one could imagine them having...
