He is popular at school, has plenty of friends, tons of girls after him. But he doesn't need a girl to be content with his life. Silas has never really felt any of his relationships at school to be very genuine though. So when he gains a one of a kind friendship, he is ecstatic. Alaya Abernathy has never had many friends. She is always moving for her parents' work. She's never really in one place long enough to meet new people. She is just, planning on another year of blending in with the backdrop. She never expected to become friends with the amazingly funny and charismatic football star. Will their friendship last? Will their relationship become more than just a friendship? Or will it crumble and fall? More importantly, will each of them being willing to make sacrifices for the other?

Have you ever been in love that fills your stomach with butterflies and makes your head spin? Unfortunately, this is a love story and not a detailed process of getting yourself unblocked from social apps. This story is from my personal experience and in fact experiencing it right now. I am not sure whether anyone would read it since there must be loads of better stories out there. If you happen to read it, do send me feedback. Please suggest any improvement since this is my first attempt in writing a short story.
