A fanfiction story based on Nintendo's Breath of the Wild, including elements of story, the world of Hyrule, and its characters. With the final blow struck, and the sealing powers performed, Calamity Ganon is finished at last. Now one question remains for the two heroes responsible, for the Princess and her Knight: What now? How will the pair navigate a post-apocalyptic world in which the Kingdom they swore to protect no longer exists? How will they cope with the loss and love one of them will never be able to forget, and the other can hardly remember? And, how will they fight a new darkness that begins to terrorize the remaining villages of Hyrule, a darkness brought about by the Calamity and yet unlike anything they have faced before? This story is meant to be a bridge between the events of BOTW and the sequel. Of course, once the sequel arrives, all of this will be proven false, but it's fun to speculate while we wait on the new game!
