On one version of Earth in the year 1993, five teenagers with attitude were chosen by the being known as Zordon to fight the villain known as Rita Replusa. Those teenagers were Jason Scott, Kimberly Hart, Zack Taylor, Billy Cranston, and Trini Kwan. Not long after, another teenager named Tommy Oliver joined. After their time as Rangers ended, many other Ranger teams were formed and fought for good. Trini eventually had a daughter named Minh Kwan, and Tommy with another Ranger named Katherine Hilliard had a son named JJ Oliver. But in 2022, Rita Replusa returned and Trini was killed. A year later, Minh took up the mantle of the Yellow Ranger and helped Billy, Zack, Katherine, as well as another Ranger named Rocky DeSantos stop her. Minh followed in her mother's footsteps and became the new Mighty Morphin' Yellow Ranger, while JJ joined SPD. On another Earth, one very different, most of the world's population had superpowers called quirks. Zordon instead recruited Jason, Kimberly, Zack, Billy, and Trini in 2093, Tommy also joined shortly afterwards, since in this they were all born a hundred years later. Just like in the other universe, eventually they stepped down and other Ranger teams rose up. But here, Trini had a daughter with Billy named Sasha Kwan-Cranston, and Tommy had a son with Kimberly named James Oliver. But when Sasha was little, her mother died in a car accident. Eventually, Tommy gave his Green Ranger powers to a young man who he and Kimberly would soon take in named Izuku Yagi. Kimberly have her Pink Ranger powers to a girl named Ochako Uraraka. Jason gave his Red Ranger powers to a young man named Eijiro Kirishima. Billy gave his Blue Ranger powers to a young man named Tenya Iida. Zack gave his Black Ranger powers to a young man named Fumikage Tokoyami. Tommy gave his White Ranger powers to James. And Trini's Yellow Ranger powers were given to Sasha, not unlike Minh. But then, in 2024 of the first Earth, and 2124 of the second, something happened.

Summary Long ago the ancient wizard Zordon Battled the evil sorceress Rita Repulsa. After many years he managed to defeat her using five magical power coins. As punishment for her loss she was sealed in a canister on the Earth's moon. However before being sealed away Rita trapped Zordon in a time warp. 10,000 years later Rita and her minions have escaped their prison and are out to conquer Earth. Zordon desperate to stop her has his assistant Alpha 5 recruit five teenagers with attitude the group of five teenagers Jackson Rocki Ramona Mike and Sid (and the assistance of their four friends Bobby Sienna Mankowski Chad Casey Ashlyn and Coco) from the town of San Francisco to help protect the Earth. Granted the powers of prehistoric animals in the form of Power Coins the five teenagers become the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. After several losing battles the Rangers and Rita captures a newcomer to San Francisco named Peter Kent and brainwashes him to become her Evil Green Ranger. Though Peter inflicts repeated and crushing defeats to the Rangers they are ultimately able to wrest control of his mind away from Rita and he joins the team as the sixth Power Ranger. His first stint with the Rangers would be short lived however when Rita creates a magical green candle to strip Peter of his powers and return them to her control. Peter elects to give what remains of his powers to Jackson in order to keep them away from Rita. The Rangers continue to battle Rita's increasingly evil schemes and Peter is later brought back to their side (albeit in limited capability) when Zordon is able to infuse his Power Coin with his own ancient power. However Rita's presence only invites even more trouble

There aren't just five Power Rangers. There are six. Instead of Jason being the Red Ranger, Jaylyn is. Kimberly is the Pink Ranger, Trini the Purple Ranger, Billy the Yellow Ranger, Zack the Black Ranger, and Jason the Blue Ranger and second-in-command. Jaylyn is a shy girl, but loyal to her friends, when she made them. Together, as a team, they will be able to save the world and the Zeo Crystal from harm.

What happens when a world of daytime cheesy child-friendly world-saving collides with a world filled with blood, cruelty, and combat that costs the losers their mortal lives? Welcome to Power Rangers: Mortal Kombat! (I do not own the image used as the "cover" of this story. I just thought it very much fit with the concept and title of the story.)

Art is a way that people use to express not only themselves, but others around them. And written stories are given somewhat of a challenge when it comes to this type of thing. These books are supposed to express characters that feel human without any music, little to no visuals, and no voices or actors to help bring them to life, so how do not only mine, but these other Lion King fanfics achieve this sense of humanity in their characters that are show in this story. Well people, that's what I am going to find out (also I am too scared to make a video essay because that would require a voice revail). I will NOT be reviewing any bad stories, and try to analyze good stories, so yeah.
