Nearly a century after the last appearance of Sozin's Comet, Fire Prince Zuko, freshly burned and banished by his father at the young age of thirteen, discovers a strange boy frozen in an iceberg. When Admiral Zhao interferes with Zuko's plans to deliver his prisoner back to Royal Caldera City, to Zuko's surprise, the young Avatar offers to help him and his uncle escape. They take refuge from the Fire Navy in the abandoned Air Temples, where Aang insists on searching for any remnants of his people that he can find. Along the way, the indoctrinated Fire Prince at last begins to learn the truth about the Air Nomads and the War, while the Dragon of the West is forced to face the sins of his warmongering past. As the months go by, the two boys eventually form an unlikely friendship, and Zuko begins to experience confusing feelings that he has never felt for anyone before. However, Zhao will not give up easily, and will do whatever it takes to capture the Avatar and his traitorous accomplices. He ran away from the Southern Air Temple in order to not be forced away and trained by harsher Airbenders not one of the teachings of Monk Gyasto. In doing so leaving people of the Avatar, benders of two or three elements, and the airbenders, will he restore the home that he left burning up?

Due to waterbending being the closest to airbending, he pretends to be a water bender. What will Aang do when someone pops up in his life? Someone who went through pain just like Aang. Will they turn into friends? Despite the gaang, except toph, not liking him? Or will they be pushed away? Read to find out!

I know it's unclear with the cover and title but this is actually a series of zukaang one-shots. They're all supposed to be funny, fluffy, and cuddly. So sorry for the people looking for angst and smut. This ain't the book for you, but if you're in the mood for cuddles and first kisses this is definitely it. Each one is different and I try not to make them too long. By long I mean like 5,000+ words, so most of them will be about 3,000+. Zuko has been an orphan from a young age. His parents died in a house fire. At least that's what everyone thinks. That's what his new foster parent, Iroh thinks. Zuko is completely fine with that. But when school starts and his whole life is thrown out of balance, he starts to think about what he really wants. One night they're staying in a Fire Nation colony, someone rats them out to a nearby guard. Short story short, Aang gets drugged and passes out for five days. He wakes up in a strange place, his body bound, and weak. All Aang can hope for is that his friends will come for him soon. Help comes from the most unexpected of places.
