This is an au where Aang died with the other airbenders. The avatar had reincarnated, but they never knew they were the avatar. Zuko is searching for the avatar. Though, the avatar is right under his nose.

The Airbender avatar died when the fire nation attacked the air temples and in the 100 years, the war has been going on the next two avatars both died, not knowing their status. When young Prince Zuko had to fight an Agni Kai with his father, Fire Lord Ozai, he accidentally used air bending to defend himself. It has been three years since his father locked him in a secret fire nation prison on the south pole. What happens when a brother and a sister discover an Airbender who claims he has to help the avatar bring peace to the world?

Zuko was once an honored prince to the Fire Nation, until he embarrassed his father in an Agni Kai, now he was the banished prince. The omega son to the Fire Lord. He was to be escorted by admiral Zhou to the Earth Kingdom to live the rest of his days at his father's command, unless he could redeem himself (he couldn't). But after a less than honorable surprise visit from the admiral that escalated too far his journey was suddenly extended south. Though Zuko was a banished prince, he was still a prince and should word get out that he was dishonored in the trust that he'd safely be escorted whilst also being under the age of sixteen whilst also being a virgin without a request for his hand, well it didn't look good. Now the once crowned prince was thrown on the edge of the ice in the South Pole with little supplies and little food. It didn't help that he was also with child.
