Water and fire are never to mix. The flames would be extinguished, and the water would be boiled. Either way, it is a dangerous affair to attempt to mix these two elements together. So when the exiled prince of the Fire Nation arrives at a small Southern Water Tribe Village in an attempt to capture any remaining waterbenders. The prince finds an ambitious and proud learning waterbender. Who sacrifices his freedom for the betterment of those around him. This young waterbender somehow always finds a way to fan the prideful flames the prince has. A budding romance that grows with the gentle emotions of Y/N and the heat of Zuko's pride.

The exiled Prince Zuko's self proclaimed most loyal follower, (y/n), follows the prince on his seemingly pointless quest to find the Avatar, mostly out of worry for the other. Though Zuko seems to be doing fine with Iroh's guidance, (y/n) keeps him company as someone of the same age. But when their ship suddenly comes across the sight of a giant flow of light escaping from and iceberg in the middle of the icy sea, (y/n) gets a change of plans. He's loyal, to his friend and family, and also to his morals... but now he's finally at a crossroad.
