It may take some time for him to realize it, but Zuko enlists Sokka to help with another redemption arc for the Fire Nation. Zuko threw up his arms in aggravation. "I don't know what I'm doing!?" He slumped down onto the foot of Sokka's bed, holding his face in his hands. Confused at the candor of his former rival, he lifted a hand to pat his shoulder. One tap...a hesitation, then a couple more taps, "That's rough, Buddy." Zuko lay staring at the ceiling while Sokka lay peacefully beside him. Is this real? Zuko thought. He heard Sokka moan softly in his sleep and felt him turn over to face him. Eighteen year old Sokka has been keeping a major secret from everyone he loves. He's a Water Spirit-half-human, half-fish creatures with large, 8-foot scaly fish tails, webbed claws, fangs, golden eyes, frills along their ears and arms, and gills. His species has all but died out due to hunting. However, Sokka has no clue how to change between his human and Water Spirit form at will, and lives in constant fear of being found out, especially by his fiancé, Fire Lord Zuko. After accepting Iroh's help to learn how to control his powers, he and his loved ones are thrown head-first into a conspiracy concerning the underground experiments in Ba-Sing-Se. (Updated weekly)
