BOOK 1 OF THE SKYE X SPEEDSTER SERIES One day, while taking a leisurely stroll in Adventure City, Chase crosses paths with a young, starving German Shepherd stray pup as he stops the pup from stealing from a hotdog cart. He then discovers that the pup was homeless and hungry, having been without food or water for several consecutive days. After a short conversation, Chase decides to take matters into his own paws and brings the young pup to the Pup Tower. However, as soon as they arrive, tragedy strikes, and the pup collapses to the ground unconscious and without warning. A few hours later, the pup wakes up in Skye's lap as she strokes his fur softly with her paw. Noticing Skye's beauty, the pup suddenly begins to blush and, over time, begins to develop feelings for Skye. That same day, the young pup talks to Chase and tells him about his crush on Skye. Trying to lend a paw to the young pup, Chase encourages him to confess his feelings to Skye. And so he does just that. After an exciting game of Pup Pup Boogie with Skye, the young pup decides to finally confess his feelings to her. Unfortunately, for him, Skye doesn't feel the same way about him that he feels about her. Heartbroken and devastated, the young pup runs to Chase for support and comfort, telling Chase that he doesn't want to spend Christmas alone. At the same time, Ryder's heart aches for the devastated pup, and so he hatches a little plan to make the young pup's Christmas extra special. What will Ryder do to make the pup happy on Christmas morning? How will it all turn out? Will the young pup end up spending another Christmas season all alone,or will Ryder and the pups be able to give the young pup a Christmas that he will never forget and change his life forever? Marshall has a lot going for him. He is a member of the Mighty Pups, attending high school, and face all kinds of challenges. He has to form a bond with the girl his age and hates her. Skye also hates Marshall and starts creating a rivalry between them as Marshall struggles to keep his secret from her as she begins to fall for his superhero ego.

Adventure Bay is facing its darkest hour yet. When a mysterious, city-wide crisis threatens to destroy everything the Paw Patrol has sworn to protect, Ryder and the team must confront impossible odds. Sirens blare across the town, alarms echo in the Lookout, and every second counts as a countdown ticks toward total disaster-Zero Hour. Chase struggles with the weight of leadership, Skye battles fears she never thought she'd face, and Marshall must risk everything to save those he loves. As Ryder watches each of the pups ask their respective escorts to the ball, Ryder can't help but feel left out, seeing that he doesn't have a date for the big night. Meanwhile across the sea, in the kingdom of Barkingburg, The Princess, while excited about the upcoming Barkingburg Ball,also has something else on her mind, her looming coronation as Queen of Barkingburg, as she begins searching for a king. One night, during a conversation with her beloved royal pup, Sweetie, her royal highness reveals that she has not only secretly developed romantic feelings for Ryder, but has also made the decision to ask him to the Barkingburg Ball. With this new information, and wanting to help her owner out, Sweetie secretly hops onto the Princess's private jet, and flies to Adventure Bay to inform the pups of this revelation. Together, Sweetie and the pups work to come up with a plan to get Ryder and the Princess together. With time running out, and the Barkingburg Ball just around the corner, will Sweetie and the pups be able to successfully execute their plan and get the two of them together in time for the Ball, or will the Princess's longtime dream of one day being with Ryder, be nothing more than a shattered fantasy?
