As they strengthen forces and help displaced citizens, Katara and Aang's relationship flourishes. She couldn't ask for a better, more amazing man, and she'd do anything to protect him. After Aang is captured and presumably killed, she nearly loses herself to anger and grief, driving her to seek revenge. But in the middle of peace keeping, the gang needs to keep this quiet until they can get all the facts. Katara has to find Aang and she needs Zuko to do it. I know that a lot of people liked Zutara so i'm gonna make a story just for it, I hope you will enjoy it. After Zuko did what he did back in Ba sing se Katara thought that she could never ever forgive him let alone grow to love him. she gets captured by Zuko and he soon joins to help Aang with his firebending. with Zuko's help will they finally defeat the firelord. I am not good at summaries please read anyways, it gets better in the story.

This story is about how Zuko and Katara know their relationship can't work because they don't want to hurt others around them.

This is a work of fanfiction that was inspired by Avatar the Last Airbender, specifically the Season 2 Finale. The story follows the Gaang in alternate storyline where Zuko finds the right path sooner. At "The Cross Roads of Destiny" Zuko decides to join Team Avatar after connecting with Katara over the loss of their mothers. Katara sees that Zuko has just been lost up until this point and uses the spirit water on his scar. *Some things have obviously been changes to suit the fanfic.*
