This piece comes from a place of deep self-awareness sometimes deeper than I want it to be. I've been struggling with the tension between knowing exactly what I want for my future and not always having the motivation to push myself toward it. I get stuck in these cycles where I think more about who I want to become than what I'm doing right now, and it leaves me feeling frustrated, disappointed, and mentally exhausted.
I wanted to put into words what it feels like to battle with my own hesitation, to feel my heart pulling me backwards while my mind is trying to move forward. Writing this helped me confront the truth: sometimes the only way out is action. Even small steps. Even messy ones. I'm learning to create plans that don't overwhelm me, to accept each milestone without tearing myself down, and to recognize that progress even slow progress is still progress.
This description is a reflection of that journey: the loops, the realizations, the self-talk, and the commitment to finally choose myself.
