This book is a totally random story with nothing to do in real life!

A young boy is sleeping in his bed on a usual night. He hears footsteps outside his door, and peeks out of his eyes to see what is happening. His door swings open quietly to reveal a murderer carrying the corpses of his parents. After silently propping them up on a chair, he writes something on the wall in the blood of the dead bodies. He then hides under the childs bed. The child is scared beyond belief. He can’t read the writing on the wall and he knows the man is under his bed. Like any child, he pretends that he slept through the whole thing and hasn’t awoken yet. He lays still as the bodies, quietly hearing the breathes from under his bed. An hour passes, and his eyes are adjusting more and more to the darkness. He tries to make out the words, but it’s a struggle. He gasps when he finally makes out the sentence. “I know you’re awake”. He feels something shift underneath his bed.

I have quite a reputation for being last at my school, Medley High. I was last to turn sixteen, I was last to get a bra, I was last to choose my subjects, I was last to have a boy/girl party and I'm always last out of class. So you catch my drift when I say I'm always last. But not any more because at the end of the the summer holidays, when my best friend Charlie snagged herself a boyfriend, now she wants me to get a boyfriend. I think she just wants to go on double dates. Now throw in a couple of boys and you have the formula for an exiting term. You just used up a small portion of your time reading this prologue so why not just read the first chappy anyway. Thanks!

Lapisa, after taking her own life, ends up in a world she is unfamilliar with, lost and confused. How did she end up there? Could she survive in this unfamiliar place? How does she go back to her own world? Does she really want to go back though? Lapisa, a 20 year old college student, found the weight of her past, her failing academic life and her family's crippling debt too much to bear. She makes the decision that she has had enough of everything the world has showed and given her thus far in life. However instead of resting for eternity as she had hoped, she finds herself having to figure out how to survive in a completely new and different world around new people. After fighting to survive in a new world with drastically different dangers than she is used to, Lapisa meets Lan who takes her to an inn led by Matilda, a middle-aged women. Matilda takes Lapisa in and gives her a chance to start anew , she is given a second chance in life. Maybe things will go different this time. One day a man with a dark past behind him finds himself back at the inn. He will soon start again, doing the one thing that can alleviate the intense hatred inside of him for a while. There was something about him that seemed familiar to Lapisa, but how? How could she find a stranger in an unfamiliar world familiar? This is the beginning of a book written by three high-school students. A book that combines fantasy, thriller and humor with a slice of life.
