يقال إن الزمن يشفي كل شيء، لكنهم لا يخبرونك أن بعض الجروح لاتُشفى، بل تتعلم أن تتنفس داخلها. هناك مواسم لا تنتهي في الخارج، بل في الداخل، شتاءات طويلة لا تسكن في الغيم، بل في القلب. هذه الرواية ليست عن الفقد فقط، بل عن الذين تُركوا خلفة-عن أولئك الذين ظلوا واقفين في منتصف الطريق، يبحثون عن دفءٍ وسط صقيعٍ لا يُرحل، ينتظرون ربيعاً لا يأتي... إلا حين يجدونه في أنفسهم. كل فصل من هذة الرواية هو خطوة في طريق العودة، عودة إلى الضوء، إلى الذات، إلى الحياة بعد الغياب. انها رواية(؟) ظنت ان الزمن توقف عند أخر يوم من الشتاء، حتى أكتشفت أن الربيع لم يكن فصلاً قادماً... بل وعداً كان يسكنها منذ البداية.
