Jilani Rose can never forget the mistakes she'd made in her life. There were too many to count. Her favorite mistake she made, however, gave her her twins, Quincy and Kirsten.

Now, at 24-years-old with a 7-year-old son and daughter, Lani is not at all prepared for the next hurdle God is tossing in her way.

Axel Stone is a retired Marine at 26, due to an injury. By accident, he learns that when he was 19, a one-night stand with a girl at a party lead to her pregnancy. He learns this by receiving a call from a woman, the children's aunt, saying that the children want to meet him.

What he does not expect to happen was to find out the mother of his children is a gorgeous woman, who lives on the water in an area of Hawaii, and owns a small series of oasis hotels.

He does not expect to fall in love with her.
