In her mind, Audrey believes she is a privileged girl who can command a whole room if need to be especially with her father as the king. Yet when it came upon her to follow the orders of the king Audrey did little to heed her father's words, too proud and naive to understand her father's wishes.

Thus, she will suffer consequences, those of which may render her with new insights and one that involves a marriage.
