She knew of the supernatural world, only because her adoptive parents were hunters. She saught out the nearest pack in her town, hoping they'd help her and take her in. They did, but once her parents found what she was they wanted her and her new pack dead. They moved constantly, always careful. The original Alpha of her pack was killed by a group of hunters, and everyone in the pack thought that Scarlett would be the best choice. The night Scott turned into an Alpha was the same night Scarlett did.
