This originated as a one minute monologue for Theatre class and kinda morphed into this... High school student Amber Wells was a normal girl worried about normal things. Until the fateful day that the sky turned red and people started dying. She finds herself in a world she doesn't recognize after losing everything she had ever loved. How will she survive?

Sky grew up in an underground city. The whole city was in fear of a war happening, which is the reason for the life the people lived underground. The only way the people can breathe fresh oxygen is by a hole in a hidden room that leads up to the surface. The hole and the room are guarded by burly guards, and only people over the age of eighteen are allowed to leave the underground city to collect resources. Sky dislikes these arrangements, however.
