Survivors of a new ice age prepare to leave the safety of the underground compound they were born in, to explore the world above ground. The Earth was divided into three climate zones when the ocean currents shut down 95 years ago. The Northern Hemisphere is a new ice age. Temperatures had been -70 degrees for almost eighty years. They have risen almost fourty degrees in fifteen years. What's happened in the Southern Hemisphere? It was turned into a drought and fire filled wasteland. Worst of all is the fifty mile strip that circles the globe, where the hot and cold air is in a constant war to take over. Tornadoes, super cells, and every manner of unpredictable weather covers this terrain. Cooper, Jayla, and the rest of their team will fight for knowledge, adventure, and survival. The question is, are they strong enough and smart enough to survive the intense conditions they are about to enter?
