Freshman year. The beginning of the rest of Melody's life.  Just great. Despite the whole "The-Next-Four-Years-Determine-How-Well-You-Do-In-Life" thing, she had been doing pretty okay. She had no problem keeping in touch with old friends and she was actually keeping up with the schoolwork. Her two extremely blonde friends, Paige and Ranee, were super excited about joining Improv Club. Melody was too, but Theater had always been something she needed more than liked to go to. After all, Melody had been a regular member of her Drama Club since middle school. She didn't know she was going to be the first freshman Officer in the history of the Improv Club. It's not like she foresaw that she would only be incredibly awkward in front of the other Officers, mostly in front of the Historian, Devin. Not to mention her earth-shatteringly massive crush on her best guy friend, Taylor. First dates, first birthday parties, first loves; the whole thing lead straight back to Taylor. Besides that, her family was spazzing all over the place at home making it difficult to actually have a social life. So yeah. Freshman year. Fantastic.

It all began eighth grade year. She was amazing, crazy, funny. She fit in perfectly with all the other weirdos. She cared, and showed it too. It began to go down hill Freshman year. "Why aren't you religious?" "You pronounce that really weird" It got worse Sophomore year "You should take seminary" "Why do you pronounce things that way, we're in America not England" "You never hang out with me, only with Brielle" Or a story about two best friends who drifted apart from a girl who just couldn't understand they were really close ~cover credit: @lunameme123~ ~title credit: @brooklynyearsley~
