Echo was the mystery girl in school, nobody knew who she was, they didn't know her last name, or if she even had parents, she was never seen with anyone, no friends, no family, she was the only outsider.
Charlie, new kid in town, there were rumours that he just got out of juvie, he smokes, he drinks, he's dark, he's the new outsider, but people were curious, people tried asking, tried to be the ones to change him, but they were all unsuccessful.
He met Echo at the local ice cream parlour, both ordering their favourite, double chocolate chunk, after the introduction, they walked in the park, they felt a zing, you know the ones in movies? Those ones.
He was a photographer, she was his model, he had a scholarship to the best school in the country, his best picture? Was of her, she was his hardest goodbye.
