Alyssa White has had Brain Cancer for two years and has no one to share her emotional burden with. She has no friends, and her parents and older brother have passed away when she was twelve years old from a plane crash. She is unwanted, unloved, and dying. She goes from home to home, not even trying to be liked by her foster parents. What's the point when they're all sadistic people who see her as no more than an easy way to gain some cash? She moves from school to school, family to family, hospital to hospital, but has she had enough? When she gains the attention of a couple students in her new school, is she willing to try? To make friends? To find someone to confide in? To be loved? To love?
