They have the best cupcakes. They also have a son, Jeremy. Who Ahlyisha has secretly had a crush on since the 3rd grade. Ahlyshia has another secret too. She self harms. When Jeremy befriends her, Ahlyisha lets her walls down. She's happy for the first time in a long time. As there friendship grows, so do Ahlyisha's feelings towards Jeremy. But Jeremy has a secrets too. His last girlfriend cheated on him with his bestfriend. He has really bad trust issues now. He's not the player everybody thinks he is. He just wants to be happy again. He starts to fall for Ahlyisha but he's scared.
This is a twist on the classic love story Romeo & Juliet. Will Ahlyisha and Jeremy find a way to be together? Despite there own personal problems, there family's rivalry, Ahlyisha's brothers, and everybody in town trying to break them apart?
