There once was a girl named Arabella. Growing up she despised herself because she was bullied all of her life. She believed people's mocking words, she didn't know her worth,as far as she knew she had none. She was constantly there for people, even after being betrayed, and even after not once having a hand to hold when she needed it. When she lost her mother and her older sister during a head-on collision, her sister died on the scene, her body wasn't found. Arabella's mother died an hour later, after Arabella, her father, and her younger brother said their goodbyes. She blamed herself, and her father did too. That day marked the start of constant abuse. Physically, mentally, and emotionally. If her father didn't do it, someone else would.

She had lived a life that wasn't her own. Every decision was made for her. At the end of the day though, she was still the one with the blood on her hands. To have the weight of abuse on your back is miserable. Especially when you're falling in love. She had been controlled by manipulation and religion her whole life. Her soulmate being a woman was unthinkable. With the constant humiliations of her life, she believed she was exactly what everyone wanted her to be. A power-hungry whore who wanted to steal someone else's mate. Life can be a cruel thing. A life that is not your own is even worse.
