"It makes me want to scream."
Lauralynn Marcotte use to be normal. She use to go to school each day, got above average grades and got voted as homecoming queen for two years in a row. She was popular, yet she didn't let it get to her head, she was the perfect image of a strong woman- even most freshmen looked up to her.
Everything changed one day when she starts hearing voices. They're floating around in her mind, whispering things that don't add up. They varied each day, ranging from crazy to completely sane.
Things just seem to get worse for her part. The once once whispers turn into screams that never seem to quieten and she slowly felt herself become insane. And things can only get darker. She starts turning up at murder scenes and worst of all- she starts wailing at the most random times, as if she had seen death herself. It isn't long before she's classified as the town loony.
That is until a group of supernatural strangers comes to ask her for help. If she did agree to their aid, she could find out all the secrets behind her cursed abilities and who she really is. Nothing really seems sound in the town for too long and it's just a matter of time. Something is about to strike them, something they're far from prepared for.
