When 21 year old Rowan Vale-brilliant, cold, and effortlessly untouchable-transfers to the prestigious Velgrave University, all she wants is to finish her degree in peace. She's there on a full scholarship, thanks to her best friend (who just happens to own the university), but Rowan has no interest in fame, flirtation, or faculty politics. That plan shattered the moment she catches the eyes of not one, but three of Velgrave's most formidable women. Powerful, respected, and all too dangerous-each woman is drawn to Rowan's icy detachment like moths to flame. "You don't talk much, Vale." Dr. Ashcroft stated with a hint of teasing. "You think staying detached makes you untouchable?" Mara whispered, leaning closer. "The real danger," Dean Wynn said, eyes locking with hers, "is when someone finally makes you feel something."
