True Jordan is a 21 year old Baltimore native and a student at Coppin State University. Between working at her parents' restaurant and school work, she doesn't have much of a social life which worried her parents and older sister. However, when she met her sister's boyfriend's brother, Nehemiah, she became more outgoing and started to slowly find her social self.

Nehemiah West is a 22 year old Baltimore native and an accountant for a corporate office. He is shy, socially awkward, anxious, and a virgin. His awkwardness drove women away, and his mommy and daddy issues made him pick the wrong women. When he finally found out that his brother's girlfriend has a younger sister, it surprised him; and when he got to know her, it eased the shyness, awkwardness, and anxiousness away.
