I never thought I could behold such a gift, not till my home planet, Naboo, was taken over by the Trade federation while my older sister, Padmé, was Queen. Two Jedi told me what I could be, how to become a hero of legends, a guardian of peace and justice- a Jedi Knight. I was to train under Mace Windu, a strict and uncompromising Jedi master- but a powerful one. He taught me everything, like how there was only good and evil. Jedi and Sith- I never questioned it, of course. Not till certain Jedi proved otherwise. Anakin Skywalker, the best pilot in the galaxy and the greatest Jedi I'd ever known. He made me laugh, and we taught each other how to love. But Anakin was also a man who wanted too much, who cared too much. It lead him astray, away from me, from good into evil. But was it just for evil? The thing always questioned, to this day. Could the universe indeed be as black and white as I painted? No, not anymore. Not from what I had seen and experienced. How could I still love a man who'd fallen so far? If the world was just good and evil- I should hate him- but it was not that simple. It never was. "So you have a balanced form." Obi-wan's hard breath against my neck rolls down the length of my body, making me shiver against him. But his hold does not falter. Not as his fingers gently linger on the curve of my waist where my exposed skin lay bare. Biting down on the roaring in my head, I bring my arms up to the defensive stance he'd been teaching me for the past half hour, and place my foot where he'd instructed. "How's this?" I ask, damning the Gods for how uneven my voice comes out. But I can't help the delicious heat of him behind me- so inviting against the cold ripples of wind that draft along the ocean waves and into the tree's behind us. Leaning slightly into his touch, a rather solid mass pokes into my lower back. As lighting strikes the ground, Obi-wan quickly removes his hands from my waist. I hear swift footsteps retreat a healthy distance behind me, leaving my back cold and bare. With furrowed brows, I turn around to see him wiping away invisible sand on his cream coloured robes.
