The Midnight Maiden

It had been five years. Five whole years since I had ran away from home. Five whole years since I had joined the Black Daggers. Looking back at that day I arrived here, I was happy about my decision to stay. After Jane had told me that they were all assassins, I had almost ran again. But my new friends, now family, convinced me to stay. The girl that I was back then is no longer close to who I've become. I'm no longer that scared little girl I once was; now I am respected and feared. The only thing I hold from my past is the midnight blue cloak that belonged to my mother. Every job I wear it to remind me of how far I've come. It has even given me a new name among those who don't know my true identity, I am the Midnight Maiden.
