I jump back into my car, I wasn't there for Sabrina, but I would be there for them, I promised them that. I drive up to the last place we all saw Sabrina, before she di- disappeared. “Sopia? Jamie? Jaylee?”
“Grace?! We knew you would find us- you’re so smart!” Jamie barley stumbles out.
“Guys; we promised we wouldn’t come out here an- anymore.” I say feeling terrified and broken; all because of this one place. This place…so many memories…good memories, now I don’t come back because it feels her ghost is hanging around, one bad memory tainting everything I had come to love about this place; safety stripped by one single death.
“Yeah; we know but we couldn’t help thinking about your twin when you texted you were coming- we immediately thought she should be honored again.” Explain Sopia. Jaylee doesn’t talk, probably because she never talked about her, she would just become distant and cold.
“Again?” I asked, messing with my necklace seeing as how I haven’t sat yet- I don’t plan on staying long enough.
“Yeah…We cane on ya’lls birthday-we didn’t want you to freak out it was her death anniversary too; not just your birthday.” Jaylee finally speaks. I don’t like it when she speaks like that- it seems like she’s not telling me something about y own twin. I look around the meadow. It’s peaceful- if you didn’t know what happened here. Since I did it just seems eerie; creepy like I could see her body lying there lifeless all over again.
