In a world where humans thrive, there are those who possess other-worldly abilities who mingle amid the throng. They look exactly like humans; they smell exactly like humans; they blend in with the humans perfectly. These beings are few in number and rarely cross paths with another of their kind, but when they do the consequences are monstrous. Meet Scarlett and Mark. They are both part of this group of others, though they both believe that they are the only ones out there. Scarlett has been bumped from foster home to foster home, while Mark has lived in one place all his life. Will Scarlett trust Mark enough to tell him her secret? Will Mark decide that Scarlett is not just the odd new student at school? Read on to find out.

Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence. No one will believe it was me who disappeared into a fence and appeared on the other side of school. I stare at my brother. He made eye contact with me, confirming my suspicions. We both saw it. Whoever that was is like us. "Did you just see that?" I ask "You're that person my brother and I saw," He says. Oh no... Why then? "Wait! You're-" Completed just editing. (Don't be too harsh please)
