A Soldier's Story

This is a short story on Gerry and Faith two folk no-one can even think to be inseperable. Gerry and Faith have been best friends since they can remember and lovers since high school. Everyone has always expected Faith to be a Doctor or a lawyer, but what she never told anyone - not even Gerry - was that she wants to be a Soldier in the British army. Faith has enrolled as a Combat Medical Technician, will this strain their relationship? Will the temptation be too strong to just walk away?
