Princess Cassandra Kendall is the only princess of a small country called Neriva. Guard Nicholas Travers is a guard for Cassandra, ever since she personally appointed him when he saved her life. He is ruled by becoming his best, to do his best for Cassandra. She is his first love though he never told her. As a guard, Nicholas has little time to do anything for himself.
As the day grows closer to the marriage of Cassandra to Xavier, threats from an anonymous person begin to come to the prince and princess, threatening them and their counties. The day of their wedding, the threat becomes reality, forcing these three to go on the run. On the run from who? They don't know. To where? They don't know that either.
