Feelings of loneliness and self-loathing have become the norm for Rei as he flows through life. However one day, Rei is invited to escape his reality, even if it's for a couple of hours. He meets a strange man named Glasgow who tells him that while Rei is asleep he can visit an unconscious world that mimics reality. This world was made for people who are stuck in comas and cannot mentally return to their bodies.
