This story follows the captain of these legendary dogs, Akiraa Nakeyama, a sports prodigy with a love of volleyball and big dreams that she will stop at nothing to reach. During one of the lowest moments in her team's history, a certain feline team invites them to the Fukurōdani Group training camp, and Akiraa sees this as an opportunity to lift her team from this hole and redeem themselves from past mistakes... but will they leave with more problems then when they first arrived?

Certainly there couldn't be time for romance right? Ha! While Akiraa struggles with the pressures of being a new captain, nothing can prepare her for who she meets along this journey... the devious Nekoma captain, Tetsurō Kuroo.
