"The year is 2047, the world has gone to waste. An uncontrollable virus gripped the earth and caused it's downfall, the cause of the virus still a mystery. The government laid the land with bombs in an attempt to rid of the virus, however it didn't solve the problem. After the bombings major cities were made into quarantine zones, loaded with the military, high concrete walls to keep infected out, and strict policies. Those who lived in these cities were 'safe.'
The ones who lived outside the cities walls lived among monstrous creatures called Banshees, and everyday was a fight for life. Those inside the city called them 'The Outsiders.' Although they lived in constant danger, they were free with no rules to bind them.
I was born into this city, and I think it's about time to find out the real truth behind this disease."

Fantasy, horror, and science fiction are my favorite genres to read. They are also my favorite to write. I've enjoyed writing since I won my first writing contest in the fourth grade. That was over twenty-five years ago and I haven't shared a sinlge word of it. Imposter syndrome is a bitch! Well, I finally managed to pull the trigger.
Here is "O Negative". It's a mix of all of my favorite genres. I've mixed a fantasy, based on present-day Earth, with plenty of graphic horror and wrapped it all up within a world driven by the technological advancements that only can be obtained from millions of years of civilation.
A small group of strangers find themselves surviving in a decimated world. It's bad enough to be stranded in a no-name town, but things become surreal when you realize the vast majority of humanity has died...it becomes terrifying when you realize you aren't that lucky to be alive.
"Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows.
Man is no longer at the top of the food chain...they are now the cattle.
