14 year old Emilia was never really happy, she didn’t belong anywhere. Always being judged, hurt, bullied (by her friends, siblings, even her own parents). When she’s finally reached her breaking point she jumps off a bridge, ending her life.
That was 200 years ago. 2 centuries later and she still faces the same problems, no one loves her. You may be thinking, I thought she died. And the answer to your question is yes, she did die, for a little. But somehow she awoke from the dead, and hasn’t aged since. She has tried to kill herself thousands of times, but always faces the same problems. She finally decides to stop trying to die, and go to school. Of course since she’s 200 years older than everyone else she’s the smartest girl in the whole school, making her an easy target for the "populars".
At least this time around she actually meets someone who even notices she’s a real human… or at least as close as Emilia can get to human. When she finally opens up and loves someone again she thinks things will get better. Or has this healing time all gone to waste?
…This is a story about how a girls already broken world comes crashing down around her… multiple times.
