Laying in his death bed, at the memorial hospital, in San Francisco, it’s the year 2079, and the middle of November. Mr. Jacobs is reminiscing on his past life and questions that were never answered. As he lays their waiting to die his final request is that he wants to be herd, he calls upon one of his nurse and ask her if she would like to hear a story. With his family miles away and anyone who meant anything gone already, he decides to tell his life story and so that he could finally be herd and somebody would know who he was, an what he did what wisdom he has to share and how sorry he is. Mr. Jacobs or Edward, is a troubled old man, he’s seen so much that he questions everything little thing and can never seem to be contempt with anything. He’s a pessimist in disguise, since he was little every milestone that he has had in his life has been a hardship added to his collection of memories. He has been on this endless search since he was young on finding the answers to why, and as a result he ends up pushing anything and everyone that ever meant something or cared for him away. Mr. Jacobs is lost in this world just as anyone else, he’s searching for answers, its hard for him to accept things the way they are because he doesn’t believe that that its that easy.  As he tells his story of his life every day he’s slowly getting weaker and weaker, the nurse his only companion, may never get to hear is whole story. But before he passes Mr. Jacobs realizes the answer to everything was right in front of him the whole time.
