Everything in Cassandra's life just went from bad to worse. About 2 years ago, her parents got a divorce. Then her father got into a car accident. He was killed. Her best friend Alexis died of brain cancer, and her house was destroyed in a viscous fire. Will she find the courage to get up everyday and act as if everything is normal? And could all of these terrible luck have something to do with that strange ring she found?
