I dashed down the halls, still trying to keep as quiet as possible and my efforts to navigate through this never ending maze had gotten me no where.

"Hello? "I heard a voice behind me say. I stopped and held my breath trying to think of what to say.

Feeling defeated, I turned around to face whoever was behind me but my eyes only met with a the same stone walls I had passed earlier and some other empty looking halls. After some confusing second I began to turn around just as man stepped out from the bisecting hall.

"Thought I saw somebody. " he said as I recognized who he was. "Colby? " I asked. "What are you doing out? " he asked. "I-um. " I stopped looking around for an excuse.

He sighed, realising what was going on. "Your not suppose to out here are you, " he asked, already knowing the answer. "You know I can't let you go. " he finished.

"Colby, please." I said. "Preston." He said. "You don't understand, you have to let me go." I stated. "Come on. " he said gesturing to the direction I'd come from.

I stopped to look at the ground thinking of what to do.

"Goodbye Colby. " I said and began to walk the other direction. "Preston, stop ." He said, but I began to walk. "Preston!" He said loudly, placing his hand on my shoulder. Before he could drag me back I swung my elbow up square into his nose.

"Im sorry." I said as he fell to the floor unconscious.
