The preservation of life
So often the justification
For taking it

Humans...elevating those that keep guard
Until they watch...too close
And the so called hero...
Condoning the very act
He would condemn

Transgressions of the past
Shape actions to come
As offspring turns into adversary
Yesterday's loss...lead to madness
And god becomes tyrant
Becomes outcast
Becomes dust

As factions dissolve 
And form
And lust for power
Enslaves all

Such foley
And futility
In the grand design

Curious, how lines
Once clearly defined
Become...blurred

What makes a person a hero? A good hero can be hard to find. A hero is selfless, a genuinely good person and someone gets the undivided attention of all of us and causes change. Someone willing to risk their own life to save another. Well if that's a hero. Then I'm more of a hero then they are. A third generation of ability users. What does it mean to be a hero or a villain. Joker felt an arm wrap around him, and he flinched, kicking them away with a gasp. His eyes widened when he watched Bruce Wayne stumble back with a shocked expression on his face. "I-I'm..." They say in the end we always pay for our sins, that when we reach those pearly gates and judgement falls that we will repent for our ways and justice will be served. That by only believing in HIS sacrifice are we truly ever saved. But... what if you are the sin itself... what if your very existence was a sin... an abomination stained onto the fabric of the world with no say nor choice of your own. An anomaly placed within the hands of the ignorant to wield as their weapon of choice. A damned creation in search of a salvation that will never be your own. What if... despite your beliefs... you could never be saved...

It was an inside joke. Each of the 'batfam' had a weakness. No one - not even Alfred - knew Batman's. Damian's was easy; Damian's was the heat. Couldn't stand it; he got way too hot way too quickly. Tim's was the dark. Was never found asleep without either a light on or the door open with a light on outside. Jason's was water. He couldn't hold his breath and had panic attacks when he had prolonged contact; say he was in a pool. Dick had two; cold and poison. He froze in twelve degrees (C) and never left the house with a jacket on. And the poison traveled at least three times as fast through his bloodstream as he didn't clot easily. Alfred had one too; as impossible as it seems. His was his age; he was nimble, yes, quick, yes, agile, yes, but occasionally his limbs cramped, or he had trouble breathing. ---Ⓜ️ for blood, gore etc, and bad language! ---
