Eventually, certain people are able to reveal their true selves without their mortal souls being threatened; humans fear and mock these individuals for this power. After all, would you want to be forced to confront your own dark heart because certain people flaunt them about like prizes?
Now as the world of men struggles to fight back the tides of time and defy their own deaths, a single mutated being named Eternity must bear the weight of this and every other life-bearing world on her shoulders.
